WHAT: LUMMI ISLAND FERRY ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The 7-person Lummi Island Ferry Advisory Committee (LIFAC) appointed May 8, 2012, by Whatcom County Council will hold its fourth meeting Monday, June 18, 2012. The agenda includes dry dock issues (security, and re-queuing project at Gooseberry Point); a report on a response to a request for information (RFI) re: electronic payment for ticketing, presentation by Josh Zender; and discussion of the 45/55 split on ferry operations costs, as assigned by County Council for comittee’s review and recommendations (contributions by non-committee members Diane Harper and Chandler Johnson, who served on the 2011 Ferry Task Force).
A public comment period is scheduled, with a 3-minute allowance for individual comments. The committee requests that individuals intending to speak during public comments please submit the comments in writing for a compilation of public records.
