The 7-person Lummi Island Ferry Advisory Committee (LIFAC) appointed May 8 by Whatcom County Council will hold its second meeting Monday, June 4, 2012. The agenda includes a public comment period before committee action, with a 3-minute allowance for comments. The committee will hear a report on electronic ticketing systems; a report from the 2011 Citizens Ferry Task Force, and a review of available material regarding the 2013 Public Works budget. The committee will set some priorities, and schedule its next session.
The committee requests that individuals intending to speak during public comments please submit the comments in writing for a compilation of public records.
