Subject: 1st meeting of Whatcom County Lummi Island Ferry Advisory CommitteeNEWLY-APPOINTED COUNTY ADVISORY COMMITTEE HOLDING INITIAL MEETINGThe 7-person Lummi Island Ferry Advisory Committee (LIFAC) appointed by Whatcom County Council on May 8 will hold its first meeting, centered on organizing and an open-comments segment, on Monday, May 21, 2012. The meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. in The Grange Hall on Lummi Island.After an introductory welcome, members will elect officers and conduct other organizational business, discuss purpose and duties, and hold an open session for public comment.THE COMMITTEE (alphabetically):
