Ferry Task Force Potluck

We thought it couldn’t be done ‹ but they did it, and now it’s time to say “Thank you!” So we’rehaving a party, and everyone on Lummi Island is invited!

We hope you’ll pack up your favorite potluck dish and come to the Grange Hall on Friday, September9, at 6:30 PM so we can join together to thank the members of the Ferry Task Force for their hard work on behalf of our entire community.

For more than six months, Barbara Ryan, Diane Harper, Jim Dickinson, John Chandler Johnson, Kathy Berg, Pat Dunn, and Riley Starks have volunteered many, many hours, using their skills and wisdom to find ways to maintain a reasonable ferry service.

Not an easy task, but they did a masterful job under difficult circumstances. This is our opportunity to thank them for all their hard work and show them how much we appreciate them. Bring your favorite dish to share, and your own table service if you can.  Beverages will be provided. Great food and good times, guaranteed!

Questions? Call Cheryll Kinsley at 758-4029.
