Barbara Ryan just sent out the agenda for Monday’s meeting at the Grange. Guests Mark Richardson and John Mulhern, both of the ferry crew, will provide the Task Force with their perspective on several aspects of ferry operations (see agenda for details). The Task Force’s Communications Plan explains how and when public comment will be taken at their meetings.
The Task Force encourages public input throughout the process, not just at meetings.
Two cost cutting measures I can think of that may be considered are: Make the last run of the ferry on week nights 10 PM and move into the 21 century with electronic ticketing (Seattle is doing this with Hwy. 520 bridge tolls), which would streamline bookkeeping and cut administrative costs.
