Granddaughters’ Ferry Worries

Nancy Gale submitted these wonderful drawings (click to enlarge) from her grandchildren Kennedie, Kamryn and Piper (ages 9, 8 and 5), who worked with their Dad on their ferry art project.  Thirty years ago, 6 year old Dad and his 4 year old brother participated in a successful neighborhood children’s drawing campaign to “save their neighborhood library.”  Kennedie, Kamryn and Piper – annual visitors to the island – love Lummi Island and the “fairy boat.”   They have made friends both on and off the island.
